Paid off and sent title release and odometer statement all by June 2 and called to confirm that everything was received and I would receive my title in 3 weeks max.

Now its July 9, nothing and called them at 180******** at 3:30 PM waited for 35 minutes before speaking to a male rep from honda lease maturity center and was told he had no idea why the honda title release department did not release my title after getting a valid odometer statement and title release form and cleared payment on June 7. he then continued to saying that he has process my title to be shipped expedited for arrival tmrrw at the end of the business day but before I finished my conversation he hung up and did not call me back even though at the beginning he had confirm my number to call back if we got disconnected. Then I spent another 30 minutes wait for a rep again when I called at 4:09PM to speak to a the second honda maturity center rep2, she told me that the last rep had processed my title to be released and shipped expedited through fedex and would arrive by the end of the day tmrrw. Then when I said I wanted to speak to the manager to find out who was responsible for this big blunder that left me carless for a month and a half since I could not register my car in my new state, the rep2 said she will look into it but then hung up.

Hoever this time the rep 2 did call me back at 4:40pm and said that the title release department did not release my title because of an invalid odometer satatement to which I responded that I had already confirmed that it was valid over a month ago she suggested I talk to the title department since they were the one that held up the title even after getting all the paperwork and payment. Even before saying bye and transfering me to the title release department, rep2 once again assured me that the title was already approved for release and was being sent through fedex expedited overnight and I would get the title tmrrw by the end of the day. I then spoke to rep3 from honda title center and she said that actually someone in there department made an error and instead of process my title for release they put me on call for June 21 to clarify something instead of sending me my title and then nobody called on June 21. I got irrritated after being bs by the rep3 for a while before demanding to speak to a supervisor in her department.

Then I got transferred back and forth 3 times between the honda lease maturity center and mercedes title center 3 times before getting to a superviser named Vanessa in the title release department just told they are processing the title to be released right that second and will call me back when they finish. At 6:20PM I get a call from someone under Vanessa that hey could not process my title for release because the maturity center did not give the correct state for my title. They put CA instead of IL where I was leaving even though the address was updated several months ago, therefore she need to clarify with the maturity center to get my title changed to my correct state which is IL tmrrw since the maturity center is closed. However after hanging up, I called the maturity center at 6:46 to see if they were closed and waited 30-40mins and then a rep4 from maturity dept answered and gave me the run around again before I got transfered to Daniela the supervisor.

Daniela told me that they have processed my title to be released overnight shipping but title dept closed now and they will send it tmrrw. However when I asked what state the Title will have Daniela said it would be CA and not IL because they never transfered it to IL. I asked why even tho I sent the change of address months ago and was told that as long as I mpaid everythign and sent all the forms my title would be release to me in IL. She said there is nothing she could do and most likely I would just get the CA title and not IL because that would be easy for me to go change it.

The story changed over 5 times when I speak to reps and supervisor. I want my title released to me ASAP and with the correct state like I was promised by the maturity center rep I spoke with when I was deciding whether or not to purchase my lease. Furthermore I demand for compensation for all the wait and lack of notification Honda as a whole did not give me when something went wrong and for all the lies and different storys the 5+ different supervisor and rep from Honda had given me and all the hours and days I wasted tring to get to the bottom of this. if Honda want to keep a customer they should be fair and clear with their customer and not be changing the stories so many times.

People and business makes mistake but you have to be responsible for you mistake and make up for it somehow to not lose the trust customer have for your corporation. Our Family and family have bought and leased and financed many Honda vechiles and still intend to do so but if Honda does not give an fair resolution and compensation for this frustrating blunder, we will consider choosing another company that will stand by their words. Honda reply:American Honda Finance Corporation (AHFC) is responding to a complaint received via the BBB from Cuu Mai. On July 10, 2018, AHFC contacted Ms .Mai and was able to address her concerns.

AHFC advised Ms. Mai of what would be done to accommodate her request and AHFC confirmed documents were delivered on July 11, 2018

At this point, AHFC considers this complaint to be closed. Yet:Okay your whole company supervisor and workers in the lease maturity and title release department think customer is a joke right? You promise me that I would get my title in a month and never sent it after getting payment.

Then when I called you guys give me 10 different BS stories all to end with that you say you will make it right by sending my title to me expedited and everything will be fine without showing me how you will fix your crapy company employee. Ms. Doris and Ms. Daniela, you both are very incapable supervisor of your department since you cannot even process a title release correct even after I called over 10 times in 3 months.

All you have given me an senior lady with a disabled husband is headache and great wast of time. When are you going to process things correctly so I can get my car registered and get my sick husband to the doctor? You didn't send me my title then when you do you did not send the receded receipt for the tax department so now I still cannot get my car registered because they said I was suppose to get the state revenue tax paper that Honda was suppose to send me with the title the actual paper with the orange sticker not the stupid copy you sent me. I called the Revenue Department to see if it was on the way and they said Honda never requested for one?

Why do I feel like honda just wants to take money and not do their part of the deal? it has been 3 months without a car due to your employee's mistake and your inability to mange that has caused my family so much misery. And you send me a letter saying you have done everything to make it right?

If you guys do not fix this ASAP and give me explanation for who is responsible for this mess then you guys are nothing but crooks and I will post every where I can on the internet and media about what you did to us your customer! I have no more patience for you company make it right ASAP, enough is enough, 3 months over 10 phone calls and 3 trips to the DMV department on my day off from work and borrowing car to and from even when I paid for mine already is absurd!
