I recently was approved for Honda's promotion of 2.9% financing on a Civic.My car did not come in before the promotion expired; however, I was informed that Honda allows an extended time for the car to come in if you are preappoved prior to the deadline.

On the afternoon of the deadline Honda Financial sent out an email to their franchise managers that they would not be honoring the extended time for delivery of the Civics due to their popularity. The customer had to have taken possession of the car by the end of the work day on the last day of the promotion.

Not ethical, not good business practice, not honorable.
