Victim of verbal bullying by co-worker
Apr 11, 2008
Honda Financial Services complaint by Brian Velasco
Never have I been treated like such an animal. This senior rep who had a cubicle next to me, Heather Shelby, used me as a scapegoat, verbal punching bag, whatever. I did my job normally answering calls and transferring challenging customer scenarios, and she constantly criticized me on my work!

If it was a customer who wanted to make a payment on their account, I could have lost out. I was just doing my job the way I was trained even though I was a temp.

Verbal bullying, especially by co-workers, is quite an epidemic. Like any other epidemics, it can spread out of control (has anyone seen the movie Outbreak).

Because of this, I had a nervous breakdown, left the job on short notice and have been out of work since! Am trying to keep my chin up and move on. I do not recommend working for this company, ever!
